Star Trace iron ore processing mainly includes crushing by crusher, separating by vibrating screen, grinding by ball mill and classifying by classifier; the separation of minerals consists of weight, flotation, and electric separation, etc. Dehydration of minerals includes enrichment, filtration, drying, and other procedures. The equipment of mineral processing covers feeder,crusher, ball mill, classifier, vibrating screen, rocking bed, magnetic separator, mix tank, flotation machine and so on.
Working principle of magnetite iron ore beneficiation plant The extracted ore should be crushed by jaw crusher initially. When it gets the reasonable fineness, it is transported into ball mill by elevating conveyer and feeder, and is milled by ball mill. 
The subtle milled ore gets the next procedure: classification. There is a theory that if the weights of solid particles are different, the sedimentations will be different, and the mixed ore can be classified by screw classifier. The classified ore gets into magnetic separator. Since the specific magnetization coefficients of ores are different, the magnetic substance of mixed ore is separated from others with magnetic and mechanical force.
The mineral matter, which has been separated by magnetic separator initially, is transported into flotation machine by, and different medicines are added according to different characteristics of ore, so that the needed ore is separated from others. Since the separated ore are wet, they should be dewatered by thickner initially, and dried by drier. Finally, the dry minerals come into being.

Jaw Jaw crushers  impactors are designed for crushing hard to soft materials like limestone, iron ore, coal etc. These impactors are available in various sizes ranging from 400mm to 1200mm diameter and width upto 2000 mm. Star trace can offer duty impactors, specially designed for coal and similar materials. 
 Frame or housing It is fabricated from MS Plates and rolled steel sections with adequate stiffners to give maximum strength. Location and size of doors are selected so as to provide access to the internal parts and to facilitate easy maintenance. Side walls are provided with suitable liners. Wherever material comes into contact with walls. Bottom part of housing has thick plate flanges for foundation arrangement.
 Breaker plates / grinding gibs Breaker plates or grinding gibs as applicable are made of m. S. Steel castings or alloy steel castings and are bolted to the MS Fabricated blocks. These blocks are hinged from the top and are adjustable with respect to blow bar tip circle. This arrangement facilitates product size control. 
Rotor Rotor discs made from m. S. Plates are keyed to the rotor shaft. Adequate size rotor shaft is supported in spherical roll bearings. Bearing blocks are resting on strong and sturdy bottom frame. Blow bars are fixed to the rotor with the help of wedge blocks. rotor is statically balanced so as to minimize vibrations during crushing operations. Light duty impactors, MS Plates are welded to MS Fabricated drum. Ms steel blow bars are bolted to the MS Brakets. 
Lubrication Generally main shaft bearings are having manual grease lubrication arrangement. However centraliszd lubrication system can be provided on request. 
Drive Impactors are driven by squirrel cage / slipring motor through a set of v belts. In large impactors, fluid coupling can be provided in combination with squirrel cage motor.

Grizzly Feeder For Iron Ore Benefication
Grizzly feeder
 is suitable to feed primary jaw crushers, selecting the large sizes which require primary crushing, the smaller sizes, and any fines which must be eventually rejected. The grizzly vibro feeder consists of a very large vibrating body made of thick plate, with inside lining of anti-abrasive plate. The grizzly vibro feeder is driven by two or four vibrating motors. The vibro feeder (which may either be placed on a steel or concrete base) rests on springs(grizzly feeder). 

(Side mounted vibro motor type) boosting throughout of primary crushers:
    A robustly constructed range of vibratory machines extending from units 0. 5m wide x 2m long up to units 1. 5m x 4. 5m. 
    The grizzly feeders are intended primarily for use ahead of primary crushers and are designed to handle large run-of-quarry stone, take the impact of dumped loads and smooth out the flow of material to the crusher. 
    All models of grizzly vibro feeders have a flat reinforced impact area followed by a sloping grizzly bar section. 
    The longer grizzly feeders are fitted with two stepped, grizzly bar sets. Replaceable wear sections of mild steel, manganese steel or rubber are fitted depending on the duty specified. 

Construction:
    Of rugged construction throughout, grizzly feeders are designed to handle run of quarry stone up to 1000mm lump size. 
    The plain section is lined with a 12. 5mm minimum thick replaceable plate in mild steel as standard, with abrasion resistant manganese steel and rubber elements as options. 

Vibrators:
    All machines in the grizzly feeder range are powered by the invicta bl series vibrators to give guaranteed performance for either intermittent or continuously rated duties. All vibrators are dust and weatherproof with protection to ip66. The vibrators operate from a 3 phase supply, 50 or 60 hz up to 650 volts.

A Ball Mill
a type of grinder is a cylindrical device used in grinding (or mixing) materials like ores, chemicals, ceramic raw materials and paints. 
Ball Mills rotate around a horizontal axis, partially filled with the material to be ground plus the grinding medium. Different materials are used as media, including ceramic balls, flint pebbles and stainless steel balls. An internal cascading effect reduces the material to a fine powder.
Industrial ball mills can operate continuously fed at one end and discharged at the other end. Large to medium-sized ball mills are mechanically rotated on their axis but small ones normally consist of a cylindrical capped container that sits on two drive shafts (pulleys and belts are used to transmit rotary motion).

Fine sand, less than 37ìm, in gangue can not be used as dam materials during selecting mine. After the classification by cyclone, coarse granule left in the bottom of dam, fine granule move to the tail of gangue. Fine granule graded naturally during the movement. There is section full of clean water, which can be used for calling back of water. In the process of filling tail, we utilize hydro cyclone for grading and concentrating to separate coarse granule so that to reduce load of filtering machine and to reach at the best effect. Use cyclone to finish dam and filling work so that to solve problems such as leaking mine, sink and over proof water discharged. So it can receive obvious economic and social benefit.

Product models and sizes:STL's wet permanent magnetic separators(magnetic wet drum separator) are offered in sizes of dia. 1200 mm and 916mm in lengths of up to 3000mm. Three basic separator designs are available for cobbing, roughing and finishing/cleaning applications. Each type can be supplied in single drum or multiple drum stages of taconite or magnetite and also for recovery for magnetic medium in dense media plants. The design of the frame allows any number of units to be connected in series as multi-stage installation.
